In 1990 started the boom of Golf in Los Cabos with Jack Nicklaus and his superb course designs at Palmilla, Cabo del Sol. Years since many other legendary names has left their legacy as Greg Norman, Davis Love III and Tiger Woods giving as the result a great proliferation of beautifully-crafted layouts.

1.- Cabo del Sol

The Ocean Course is described by course designer Jack Nicklaus as “the best golf property I’ve ever seen.” This 18-hole, award-winning course is one of the few courses in the world that offers dramatic views of the mountain, desert and sea.

Is Located at the tip of the Baja peninsula along the 20-mile Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.

The Ocean Course is poised against a magnificent backdrop that contrasts the emerald green turf with the brilliant blue of the Sea of Cortez. A dramatic layout places seven holes along the coastline of craggy rock outcroppings ascending from golden, sun-washed shores.

2.- Cabo Real 

Of all the great courses in Los Cabos, it is the only area layout to host two PGA Senior Grand Slam Events.

Cabo Real has an incredible landscape, with lush fairways, swaying palm trees, towering cactus plants and superb Sea of Cortes views.  You can relax and enjoy the scenery.

Also, there are some interesting sights from a bikini-rich pool deck to the occasional glimpse of whales breaching near the shore.

3.- Palmilla

Palmilla is one of the crown jewels of Jack Nicklaus. Simply Stunning

He has designed so many great golf courses in Los Cabos,  He is really in love this land.

This is one of three local courses that have been ranked among the best in the world, and the landscaping and views here are magnificent.

There are 27 holes total, stretching over three nine-hole courses: The Ocean Course, The Mountain Course, and The Arroyo Course. The Ocean Course, with its stunning views of the Sea of Cortés, is the most visually breathtaking of the three. There are five sets of tee boxes at the courses, catering to low and high handicappers alike.

4.- Club Campestre

This Course has the emblematic sign by Jack Nicklaus. Club Campestre as the most local Nicklaus designs, has a long dramatic elevation changes, uneven stances, and diabolical greens. Three putts are the enemy at Club Campestre, as the the fairways are pretty forgiving. Aside from the challenging conditions, the best part of the course is its rugged beauty; there is some beautiful Sea of Cortes views.

5.- Puerto Los Cabos

This is one of the favorites, this course has a peculiarity is the most unique layouts. Two-time major champion Greg “The Great White Shark” designed the front nine Mission Course, Jack “The Golden Bear” Nicklaus the back nine Ocean Course.

Is the only place where the golfing fans can get the experience the contrasting design styles of these golf legends. The highlight of Norman’s nine are the spectacular seaside. Nicklaus’ back nine boasts one of the longest par-fours in all of Los Cabos.
