Los Cabos, Cancun & Panama rises on as Responsible Tourism Destinations, creating conscience.

Los Cabos, Cancun, and Panama have become the most visited destinations in Latin America; that why this destination promotes the responsible Tourism.

We have been heard about the responsible Tourism everywhere but, what is it?

The Tourism is considered a social, cultural & environmental phenomenon, that has truly impact on the planet and society.

Like almost everything, the Egyptians were the pioneers of the tourism; at the beginning, the tourism objective was the search of food or escape from some dangers and business.

Later the Persians began to worry about the safety of travelers and adapted wagons and asses as modes of transport.

Then the Greeks were the first ones to travel for pleasure and the Romans built excellent roads, transport systems, and communication. Here was born the famous line “All roads lead to Rome”.

Voila they were the first tourist in the world!

Today the Tourism Industry worth more than a trillion dollars annually, and is a growing almost everywhere.

But What is Responsible Tourism?

Responsible Tourism is about “making better places for people to live in and better places for people to visit.”

This tourism is possible but requires the commitment of operators, hoteliers, governments, local people and tourists to preserve, care and take some actions in order to maintain the environment.

The Responsible Tourism search the creation a bond between the destination, the local people and the visitor having benefits for all.

The local people open the cultural heritage providing memorable experiences for tourist.

This close contact with other cultures, different landscapes, and ways of living give as result the creation of conscience of the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.

A bond to engenders respect between tourists and hosts, and builds local pride and confidence, maintaining the world’s diversity.

It is tourism that can sustain local economies without damaging the environment on which it depends; The one that respects the environment and, consequently, does not contribute to its disappearance.

Nowadays we have two keywords:  Maintain and Promote

The Responsible Tourism has the objective to promote the industry with new products, new marketing campaign’s without losing sight the protection of flora and wildlife.

On 2017 was declared Sustainable Tourism Year by the ONU, leaving a real legacy for future generations.

 

Sustainability has become an important issue t global fairs and annual meetings such as #ITB Berlin, #ITB Asia, #IMEXFrankfurt, #WTMLondon, Caribbean, Tianguis Turistico Mexico, #IMEXAmerica. All committed with this change.

The most important impact of the tourism industry is the possibility of changing the world, contributing to peace and breaking down the borders. #Beyondtheboders.

Tourism promotes new cultures, new perspectives and new ways of thinking fostering creativity, inventiveness.
